The Osokozi Gallery opened in 1992 in the 18th century cottage formerly called “Osokozi”.
The building had been the manse for the Primitive Methodist’s chapel next door, which closed in the 1930’s.
Osokozi stocks an eclectic mix of quality greeting cards, jewellery and interesting ethnic artefacts.

We offer a wide selection of greeting cards, postcards, notelets, giftwrap & tissue.
Osokozi’s stock includes cards from Canns Down Press, Woodmansterne, Emma Ball, Green Pebble, Orwell Press, Archivist, Roger La Borde, Fitzwilliam, Ashmolean, Natural History, and V & A museums.
Also an interesting collection of local artists’ cards.
Our collection of Afghan and Middle Eastern jewellery comprises beads, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and pendants, many set with semi-precious stones such as lapis lazuli and carnelian. We also have many old tribal pieces, hats and others textiles from the region.
A mix of the collectable and the wearable, with lapis earrings starting from £7.95.

Afghan glass, hand blown in Herat by the same extended family for over 900 years.
